Mondrian
A tribute to one of my most favorite of all artists. Simple, yet elegant. I sometimes find myself staring at this piece, looking for patterns, other shapes, just ways to explain the use of lines and colors in this form. I haven’t found the pattern yet, thankfully, so this one will remain on my wall for a good long time. No, this isn’t a Mondrian reproduction, but I think it fits well with his style. It is almost 2′ by 3′ and currently hangs over one of my couches on two screws. I’m hoping that I won’t be needing many white pieces in the near future, this one is using half of them.
