biao xin li yi
I decided to attempt to redeem myself after the “Nang” project was such a lame excuse at Chinese writing. This one actually means something. The translations given in the Chinese dictionary I used are: [biao1 xin1 li4 yi4] /start something new in order to be different /do something unconventional or unorthodox /create something new and original. My mantra. Strangely enough, it probably took me 5 times longer to make the border than to make the characters inside. Somewhere around 20 hours total. It was a lot of fun, but I think I could have done something more interesting with the characters. Oh well. Maybe I’ll think of something later on, my fingers are stinging too much now.
