I’m so ashamed. Well, at least it started with ThinkGeek, so it can’t be all that bad. Right? ::sigh:: Yeah. It’s still pretty redneck. Maybe not as redneck as paintball, but you do wear camo and cover yourself in bug spray. If you don’t know, airsoft guns fire tiny plastic balls anywhere from 100 to 400 feet per second and players willingly (and foolishly) fire them at each other, sometimes with nasty results. From the last game I played, I discovered that my $20 gun and I were no match and have placed an order for a new gun on the black market, seeing as how there appears to be a small arms race happening among the members of the group. But why me? ::ugh:: Just one of those WTF, out-of-character things that people do, I suppose. Maybe I can find some way to make this a geeky hobby…
