Happy birthday sweetie. :)  I’m sorry that you have to work and go to school all day today.  It’s a bummer, but it is still your birthday.  And, I love you to bits!  Mmm…

Or maybe it’s Irritation… Anyway, I have decided to copy my wife’s last post and show an old picture of me with my best friend(s) growing up. Maybe it’s the anticipation of reliving certain aspects of both of our lives through our upcoming family addition that has us looking at old photos… Whatever. It’s fun.

God and GE are awesome. We got to see our baby for the first time today. I didn’t go with Amanda to her appointment expecting to see a whole lot, but I was very wrong to think that. It took the nurse all of about one second to find and then show us our baby on the screen. We both smiled and breathed a huge sigh of relief when we saw that little heart beating. After looking around and checking out everything else in there, the nurse returned to the baby which had twisted itself to look in our direction. It did a nice little jig for us and then the procedure was over. It went by way too fast for me. I could have watched that for hours. I can’t wait to go to the next one!
