Tax Day or My One Year Anniversary at Raytheon
Thursday, April 15th, 2004I was planning on taking some time here to reflect on the changes in my life over the past year. I was going to say something about how my new job has inspired me and given me some measure of confidence. An example I was going to use was how this confidence, combined with the new Don Caballero album, American Don, drove me to branch out musically to include the guitar and drums. Thanks to my handy Boss looping pedal, I’m now playing bass, guitar, and drums at the same time. And still all in odd time signatures. It’s ever-so-much fun. I would have also mentioned the little changes too. Like the fact that I now tuck in my shirt at work and have no phone line at home. Yet, most things haven’t changed. I’m still a LEGO purist, still despising singers, and still reading the Dune series. But all of this would make for a much too personal and downright boring post. (Not to mention, long)
